    In figure X, the square sheet of paper has been folded twice along the line of the symmetry.

    In figure Y, the sheet is folded further into half. Again in figure Z, one triangle and one half a rectangle are punched on the corner.

    These shapes will triple (as the paper is folded twice) in each folded part of the paper. Thus, when the paper is unfolded six triangles and six half a rectangles are formed symmetrically on two corners.

    Hence option B is correct.
