The sum of two even numbers is 6 more than twice of the smaller number. If the difference between these two numbers is 6, which is definitely the smaller number?

    Let the first even number be 'x'

    Then, second even number is x+6.

    Now, x+x+6=2x+6

    or 2x+6=2x+6
