Here,

8 pens+ 4 pencils= ₹ 176

= 192-8 pencils+pencils= ₹ 176

= 192-4 pencils =176

= 4 pencils =16

= 1 pencil= ₹ 4

∴ CP of 1 pencil= ₹ 4
