The mean temperature of Monday to Wednesday was 37° C and of Tuesday to Thursday was 34° C. If the temperature on Thursday was 45th that of Monday, then what was the temperature of Thursday?

    Given,

    Monday to wednesday M+T+W=3×37

          =111°C   ___(1)

    Tuesday to thursday T+W+TH=3×34

        =102°C    ____(2)

    On subracting Eq(2) from Eq(1), we get

    M-TH=(111-102)

    = 9°C

    Now, Th4=9°C

    ∴ Th=9×4=36°C

    Hence, Option B is correct.
