9 men working for 7 hours a day can complete a piece of work in 15 days. In how many days can 6 men working for 9 hours a day, complete the same piece of work?

    According to the formula,

    M1 D1 H2 = M2 D2 H1

    Here,

    M1 = 9, D1 =15, H1 =7, M2 = 6, D2 = ?, H2 =9,

    ⇒ 9×15×7=6×D2×9

    ⇒D2=9×7×156×9=352=1712 days.

    Hence option A is the correct.
