In each of the following question, find the minimum number of triangles in the given figure.

Explanation

After labelling the figure, we get the following,

- Simplest triangles ABJ, ACJ, BDH, DHF, CIE, and GIE (6)
- Triangles with two components each ABC, BDDF, CEG, BHJ, JHK, JKI and CJI (7)
- Triangle with four components is JHI (1)

Total number of triangles in the figure is 6 +7 + 1 =14

Hence option C is correct.
